Donate A Letter aims to reduce the social isolation and loneliness so often associated with cancer.

Receiving a letter or card, even from someone you don’t know, can bring a connection and

sense of comfort at a time of difficulty.

You can be anywhere in the world to receive a letter.
If you are suffering from cancer or if you are an organisation or hospital supporting cancer patients and would be interested in partnering with us, then we’d love to hear from you.
If you want to write back we instead ask that you write a letter for Donate A Letter which will be sent on to another cancer patient. Let us know and we’ll send you a letter-writing kit.
You can receive as many letters as you like. Whenever you would like to receive another, please let us know by sending an e-mail to: f rommetoyouletter@gmail.com
For reasons of data protection, you cannot nominate someone else to receive a letter. Please encourage them to contact us themselves.
Receiving a letter will not cost you anything but will hopefully bring some joy and relief into what can be a very lonely place.

Write as often or as little as you like - all letters are always appreciated.
Your letters are distributed to cancer patients in hospitals and to those requesting them through our website.
Need help you compose a letter? Check out our letter writing tips or attend one of our workshops.
You can live anywhere in the world to be part of Donate A Letter.
We send you a letter writing kit, containing writing tips, sample letters, stationery and details of where to send your letters.
It will cost you nothing except your time, and the price of your stamp.
You will not receive letters back. It is a one way gift.
Each letter is delivered to a different person.
