We couldn't do any of our work without our incredible community - that includes you! Whether you've received a letter, written many or just helped spread the word, you've made 2021 that bit brighter.
Stamps and cards galore!
Thank you so much to all of you who have either donated directly via Just Giving or have created wonderful fundraising ideas of your own to help us get as many cards as possible out to our letter recipients.
This year we've been able to send over 8000 letters, have met 835 new writers, and delivered to 18 hospitals and cancer centres as well as to hundreds of individuals directly. We're still doing the tot-up of all the Christmas cards and letters sent in to us, but we know we got over 1650 which is just incredible.
Stamps are such a big part of what we need to keep going at FMTY, and our community have been amazing at coming up with ways to get others involved. Just one wonderful is example is how Colleen, with her friends and followers, managed to raise enough to send us 648 First Class stamps! If you'd still like to support our Christmas campaign, you can here.
We really can't thank you enough for helping us bring a little festive spirit to those going through treatment and/or currently living with cancer and isolation. What's more, we've also had a record number of New Year letters come in already that will be ready for us to send out come January to beat the blues. Check out the blog post next week for more on this!
Postbox sets the pace into the new year...

With a couple of more weeks and "just" 46 miles to go, Alison's mildly crazy plan to run Lands End to John O’Groats this year, creating her 874 mile running fundraiser, is almost complete! Fitting in almost two marathons in the next 11 days will require a lot of encouragement - especially if post-boxes keep overtaking her! Jump on our social channels to leave her a word of encouragement and if you have any spare pennies, please do help her reach her £2k target!
Wishing you a very merry Christmas - from all of us

Again, thank you, for all that you've done and plan to do.
Next year looks to be even better - you've inspired new workshops and fundraising challenges, we'll be celebrating our fifth birthday in March, and a new website built to serve our community even more will be launched in January along with loads more news.
Keep your eyes peeled and make sure you're signed up for the newsletter to be the first in the know!
